Police discover meth lab, make arrests

Police found a meth lab along the Big Sandy River Bank in Floyd County yesterday morning and have arrested two men in connection with it. Prestonsburg police and Kentucky State Police say they disabled the lab, found in the Lancer community. Mike Lowe and William Shell, both of Prestonsburg, were arrested after one of them allegedly tried to flee. No injuries were reported as a result of the meth lab. Lowe and Shell are currently lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
