AAA report: Thanksgiving travel expected to increase slightly
Triple A released its annual Thanksgiving travel forecast on Tuesday, and have projected that slightly more Americans will hit the road this Thanksgiving. Over 43 million Americans are expected to travel at least 50 miles from home over the holiday period. A recent drop in gas prices should help boost holiday travel. The national average has declined some 35 cents per gallon in recent days.
Triple A defines the Thanksgiving holiday travel period as Wednesday November 21 through Sunday November 25.
