Powerball surpasses record for upcoming Wednesday drawing
Saturday's Powerball drawing did not produce a grand prize winner, meaning the upcoming Wednesday jackpot has risen to a record amount. The Powerball jackpot is now standing at least 425 million, which is also the biggest in the games history. The previous record prize was 365 million in 2006. The jackpot could grow even larger depending on the number of ticket sales. The all-time lottery record stands at 600 million, set in March of this year in the Mega Millions lottery.
