Gas prices continue to fall in Kentucky
The average price for gasoline has dropped 21 cents per gallon over the past two weeks, and continues to fall in Kentucky as well.
Even with Hurricane Sandy causing havoc on refineries in the Northeast, gasoline prices nationally have continued to slide. Average retail prices in Kentucky have fallen 2.9 cents per gallon in the past week to an average of $3.30 per gallon. The national average has fallen 5.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.51 per gallon.
Analysts believe prices will continue to decline through Thanksgiving. Lower demand nationally combined with cheaper winter blends of gasoline have also contributed to the decline in recent weeks.
