An indictment related to a missing Oil Springs couple handed down in Johnson Co.

After being missing for over a month, a Johnson County couple's son and his girlfriend have now been indicted in connection with the disappearance of Sandra and Larry Blanton.

A grand jury indicted Willie Blanton and his girlfriend Amanda Fannin on a range of charges, with most of the charges related to the couple's disappearance. Ten charges were issued in all as reported by WYMT: eight against Blanton and two against Fannin. The charges ranged from being a persistent felony offender, to possession of a forged instrument, to fraudulent use of the parents' food stamp card. The two are also accused of writing checks on the couple's bank account.

Blanton and Fannin were already in jail before the indictment; Blanton for pretending to be his father in an effort to fill his father's prescription and Fannin for drug-related charges. Johnson Co. officials are continuing the search for the Blantons.
