Gas prices continue to fall
Oil prices fell to a three month low on Tuesday, with companies cutting earnings forecasts and in the process raising concerns about economic growth and oil demand. Oil finished at 86.67 per barrel and has lost about 6 percent since last Thursday. The drop in price is starting to mean more relief at the pump. The national average for one gallon of regular unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.65 overnight. The price has fallen 17 cents in the past 12 days. The switch to cheaper winter blends along with lower demand has helped bring down the price. AAA expects the national average to approach $3.25 per gallon by Thanksgiving.
