Parents claim their children were injured in a school bus accident

Parents in Harlan County told WYMT that their children were injured in a bus crash Friday afternoon.

Some were even treated for concussions, but police and school officials are calling it a minor tire blow out.

Parents are asking why they weren't notified when it took place.

Harlan County School officials say it was not serious enough to report and they followed all necessary procedures.

Parents say school officials have agreed to compensate them for any hospital bills as a result of the blow out.

They also say that since an official report was not taken at the scene, they filed a civilian report with the Harlan County Sheriff's Office.
