A Columbus OH man has been arrested in a Boyd Co. drug bust

A man from Columbus, Ohio was arrested after the Boyd County Sheriff says he sold crack to an undercover officer.

Jharel Kirkland, 24, was arrested inside a room at an Ashland motel. He was charged with trafficking in crack cocaine.

The Sheriff’s Office says Kirland sold 4 grams of crack to the officer. Deputies also confiscated more crack and cash during the bust.

Kirkland is in the Boyd County Detention Center.
