Tip leads to discovery of Johnson County meth lab

Johnson County sheriff's deputies responded to a tip received by Johnson County Sheriff Dwayne Price, of a possible active meth lab located at 141 Puncheon Creek Road in Sitka. Deputies discovered a meth lab in a bedroom of the house. They also located meth precursors, and other drug paraphernalia. Twenty Seven year old Zachary Jude was found suffering from a possible overdose. Jude was flown to Pikeville Medical Center. Donald Davis 40 of Hagerhill was taken into custody and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Both subjects were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine as well as unlawful possession of Meth. The incident remains under investigation.,
