Family members are seeking help in locating a missing teenage girl

Family members are asking for help in locating a missing teenage girl, who they say could be headed to Floyd County. Seventeen year old Amber Newman was reported missing on Monday by family members. Newman reportedly vanished from her home in Cleveland Texas. Family members say Newman is a former resident of Floyd County as well as a former student in Prestonsburg area schools. She is described as having short reddish blonde hair and green eyes. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Amber Newman is asked to call 832-364-0084 or 606-259-6158.
