A medical marijuana hearing is set for today

The Kentucky House of Representatives' Committee on Health and Welfare will hold a hearing today to discuss medical marijuana and whether residents with serious illnesses should be allowed to use it if their doctors recommend it. A recent poll showed that nearly 80% of Kentucky adults believe people with serious illnesses should be allowed to buy and use marijuana for medical purposes if their doctors recommend it. A recent Kentucky health issues poll produced the results.
