CDC: Flu season off to a normal start

CDC officials say the flu season is off to a normal start this year. Flu reports have been increasing, but nothing like last year when the flu season started early and was harsh and widespread. The CDC reports that over 380,000 people were hospitalized last year due to flu, the highest number since 2005. Kentucky is currently listed in the regional flu category, which is only one level below widespread. Officials say it's too early to know how bad this flu season will be or when it may hit it's peak.
