The Johnson County Sheriffs department will add two full-time domestic violence advocates

The Johnson County Sheriffs department has been awarded a grant that will bring two full-time domestic violence advocates to the department. Wymt is reporting The two advocates are expected to be able to help victims of domestic violence through the court process as well as assist in filling out paperwork to help victims get protection. Anyone living in Johnson County who may be in need of speaking with a domestic violence advocate may call the sheriffs department at 606-789-3411
