The Salvation Army is asking for the publics help

The Salvation Army is asking for the publics help to ensure a special Christmas for those in need. The organization reports that donations have been down this Christmas season compared to last year. Officials with the Salvation Army say six less days to collect donations this year because of the lateness of the Thanksgiving holiday could be a factor in the decline. The organization has also seen a decline in the number of group volunteers. Groups and individuals who would like to help are asked to contact the Salvation Army in your area.
