An Eastern Kentucky man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder

An Eastern Kentucky man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder in connection with the death of a Cattletsburg man after a high speed chase. Thirty-Four year old Joshua Fitzpatrick was arrested in October after he allegedly crashed into a motorcycle after a high speed chase, killing the motorcycles operator Johnny K Maynard. Kentucky State Police say Fitzpatrick was involved in a chase for speeding and wreckless driving, when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into Maynard's motorcycle. Maynard passed away from injuries sustained in the accident. Fitzpatrick entered a not guilty plea and is due back in court in February for a pre-trial conference.
