The Johnson County sheriffs department is awarded a grant to assist victims of domestic violence

The Johnson County Sheriffs office has been awarded a grant that will bring two full-time domestic violence advocates to the department. The two full-time advocates will help victims of domestic violence through the court process as well as assist in filling out paperwork to help victims get protection. Anyone living on Johnson County, who may be in need of speaking with a domestic violence advocate may contact the sheriffs office at 606-789-3411
