A man who planned to seek the office of Johnson County sheriff has pleaded guilty to drug charges
A guilty plea was entered on Monday in a federal drug case. A man who intended to seek the office of Johnson County sheriff who was previously arrested on drug charges pleaded guilty to knowingly and intentionally distributing oxycodone and also a weapons charge. John Kline was accused of selling oxycodone to an informant and carrying a gun during the deal. Kline had confirmed previously his intention to seek the office of Johnson County sheriff in the upcoming election before his arrest. Kline is scheduled for sentencing in March of 2014.
