Police are searching for a woman in connection with an Eastern Kentucky robbery

Boyd County sheriffs deputies are looking for a woman who they say robbed an Ashland gas station. The robbery took place at the Speedway on Russell Road at 11:40 p.m. on Friday. Police say the woman told the store clerk that she had a gun and demanded money. The woman was able to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was wearing a scarf over her face, and a blue hooded sweatshirt with brown sweat pants. Anyone with any information concerning the robbery is asked to contact police at 606-739-5135
