Kentucky Transportation Cabinet sets snow and ice removal priority routes for Magoffin County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's Department of Highways has designated roads in Magoffin County as either Priority A, B or C for snow and ice removal for upcoming winter travel issues. Priority A routes include through routes and are those that are most heavily traveled. Priority B routes include other important but less traveled routes. Other roads fall into Priority C. In Magoffin County, Priority A roads include: Bert T Combs Mountain Parkway, US 460, Ky 40, Ky 114 and parts of Ky 30 and Ky 7. For the latest road conditions in bad weather, motorists may dial 511 for road conditions and travel information.
