Police Have Arrested A Man And Charged Him With The Murder Of A Former Eastern KY Mayor
Police say he shot and killed former Evarts Mayor Ronnie King and set a fire, but Shelby Shell claims he is an innocent man.
Shell was taken into custody on Monday at his home in Berea and taken to the Harlan County Detention Center.
Shelby Shell age 29, is charged with murder, robbery, burglary, arson and tampering with physical evidence in the death of 59-year-old Ronnie King.

Someone shot and killed King one week ago but Shell says Police have made a mistake and arrested the wrong man.
Sheel did admit to knowing King but said he was fond of King and that King was always good to him.
