Additional eastern Ky. schools forced to close due to weather, illness
Two more school districts have decided to close for the remainder of the week, after illness and poor weather conditions have affected attendance throughout the state.
Floyd County and Paintsville Independent school districts have cancelled classes for today and Friday. Several eastern Kentucky school districts had previously cancelled classes for the remainder of the week, as we reported yesterday.
The list now includes: Magoffin Co., Martin Co., Morgan Co., Perry Co., Floyd Co., Johnson Co. and Paintsville Independent Schools.
