Officials are reporting an increase in flu cases in Kentucky
Flu season has arrived and officials with The Centers for Disease Control are reporting widespread flu activity in Kentucky. Officials with the Kentucky River District Health Department say flu cases started showing up in Kentucky as early as October of last year, but that it is still not too late to get a flu shot.
It is unknown exactly how long flu season will last, but the best way to prevent the flu is to get vaccinated. The vaccine takes almost two weeks to take full effect.
