Another arrest is made in recent Ashland drug cases

A third person has been arrested in Ashland for allegedly selling drugs to an undercover Boyd County sheriff's deputy. The arrest brings the total to three in the past two days.

Two men from Philadelphia were arrested during the past weekend for allegedly selling crack cocaine to undercover police. The suspect in the third arrest is James R. Hall, 41, of Ashland. Hall is accused of selling heroin to deputies, and is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.

Deputies reported that Hall also had a large amount of cash on his person in addition to the heroin. Hall was lodged in the Boyd County Jail.

Officials say more charges could be filed pending the outcome of the investigation.
