An Eastern Kentucky woman is headed to jail on identity theft charges
An Eastern Kentucky woman has been sentenced to 39 months in jail for indentity theft and wire fraud. Lisa Salyers of Jackson admitted to stealing another individuals social security number through the internet, and later using the number to purchase a vehicle. Salyers pleaded guilty to the charges and was given the 39 month sentence. The judge in the case also ruled that Salyers must pay back 5,000 to the car dealership involved.
