Kentucky Adult Education offering free GED throughout Eastern Kentucky during July

Those wishing to obtain a GED will have the ability to do so at no charge throughout the month of July. Those who qualify will not be required to pay the usual sixty dollar fee to take the test. In order to qualify to take the test free of charge, you must be at least sixteen years old and have officially withdrawn from school. Individuals that are nineteen or older must pass a pre-test. Kentucky Adult Education will be paying the fee during July. The goal of the program is to serve one hundred people per year. For more information contact an Adult Education program at one of Kentucky's Community Colleges.
