Vandals have damaged several Martin Co homes and businesses

More than 80 people are cleaning up a mess after vandals with paintball guns hit homes, businesses and cars along a 15-mile stretch of road early Monday morning.

Martin County Sheriff Garmon Preece told WSAZ “Businesses been damaged, cars been damaged, homes been damaged, anything they could shoot at.”

Investigators said they believe they know who the vandals are. They said two of the suspects are juveniles. A 21-year-old may have been driving the car out of which they shot paintballs, according to the Police.

Martin County Sheriffs Deputies are still searching for the suspects.
