Ky. carjacking leads to police pursuit

A carjacking incident led to a police pursuit in West Virginia on Friday night.

According to WATE-TV Kentucky State Police in Harlan say they received a call from a man who reported that a man and woman got inside his vehicle while parked alongside the road and forced him out of the car.

Officers with the Chapmanville West Virginia Police Department spotted the vehicle in their city and initiated a traffic stop.

That's when the vehicle fled the scene, the driver later bolted from the vehicle and ran away.

Authorities recovered the vehicle. Police in West Virginia are still searching for the suspects.
