Southeastern KY man is killed by a train

Officials say a person has died after a train crash in Pulaski County.

It happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

The Pulaski County coroner say a 29-year-old Somerset man was hit and killed by the train just south of Trinity Springs Park in Somerset, near the West Columbia Street crossing, on a Norfolk Southern railway.

The man has been identified; however, we're told family has not been notified, so his name is not being released.

At this point, the coroner says foul play is not suspected.
