Two UPike assistant football coaches were arrested and now face drug charges
WYMT is reporting that two University of Pikeville assistant football coaches face drug charges.
On Monday we told you Emanuel Hendrix and Jimmy Brookins were arrested.
Police say they found an indoor marijuana growing operation with 37 plants at an apartment.
University officials told us the pair were employees at the college and issued this statement.
"The university takes these allegations seriously and will conduct its own internal investigation. UPIKE is committed to providing a drug and alcohol free campus and a secure learning environment for our students, faculty and staff."
