An Eastern Kentucky High School earns a distinct honor

An Eastern Kentucky High School is credited with the 2nd highest percentage of students who continue on to pursue college after graduation. Paintsville High School ranks 2nd overall in the state, trailing only Brown School in Jefferson County in the percentage of students who continue on to college after graduating from High School. 93.6% of Paintsville students made the decision to continue their education. Coy Samons with the Paintsville Independent School System released a statement concerning the honor saying " to be ranked 2nd in the state with a college going rate of 93.6% is exceptional and is a credit to our students, parents, faculty and staff.
