Gasoline prices creep upward as holiday season arrives
Gasoline prices are starting to climb after nine weeks in a row of falling prices. The US average price for a gallon of gasoline is up 3 cents over the past week. The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released Sunday says the price of a gallon of regular unleaded is at 3.25. Midgrade costs an average of 3.44 and premium is 3.59. This is the first price hike since September 6th. The highest average price was in California at 3.58 and the lowest price was in Oklahoma at 2.93.
