Kentucky is among seven states selected for a teacher training pilot program
Kentucky is one of seven states set to participate in a two year program that will work with school districts, colleges and educators to improve teacher preparation. The Network for Transforming Education Preparation was created by the Council of State School Officers. Governor Beshear's office released a statement explaining that 17 national organizations will support the states work to bring about change in educator preparation. Officials say more is expected of teachers and students and it is important to make sure teachers are prepared for the task.
