The annual Jenny Wiley Festival gets underway today in Prestonsburg
Prestonsburg's Jenny Wiley Festival kicks off this afternoon in the city municipal parking lot. The annual festival is held each year in honor of Jenny Sellards Wiley, who was captured decades ago by native Americans.
The festival begins at 5 p.m. with a carnival, food booths and arts and crafts displays. Saturday's parade will feature local businesses, students, and bands. The parade is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Saturday evening's feature concert is headlined by country music star Jason Michael Carroll and is free to the public.
