A Knott County man whose father allegedly shot a parole officer pleads not guilty

Rocky Wicker Jr. was in court on Tuesday to answer to charges including parole violation, fleeing and evading police, and possession of a firearm. Wicker junior entered a not guilty plea. Wickers father Rocky Wicker Sr. is also in custody, accused of shooting probation and parole officer Brian Melvin in the arm. The shooting allegedly took place as officers were attempting to locate Wicker Junior. Wicker Sr.'s case has been sent to the grand jury.
