The President and CEO of a Louisa bank has pleaded not guilty to child porn charges

The President and CEO of a Louisa bank has pleaded not guilty to child porn related charges. Edgar N. Purdom , 68, of Louisa was arraigned on Friday in Lawrence County Circuit Court. Purdom was charged with four counts of disrupting matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and one count of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. The indictment followed an investigation by the Kentucky Attorney Generals Cybercrimes Unit. Purdom pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released after posting a 5,000 cash bond. Wsaz is reporting Purdom was placed on administrative leave following his arrest. An indictment is an accusation and a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
