Meth bust in Ashland results in arrest

Boyd County sheriffs deputies received information about possible meth labs on Eltura Street in Ashland on Friday. After a search of the property, the labs were discovered and deputies arrested 43 year old James M. Slavens in connection with the labs. Slavens was arrested at his place of employment and charged with manufacturing meth. Police say the house was condemned and more arrests could follow. The investigation is continuing by the Boyd County Sheriff's department.
