Voter registration at all-time high in Kentucky

The number of Kentuckians registered to vote in the May 20th primary is at an all-time high. Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes has announced that the total number of registered voters now stands at 3,105,349, which beats the previous record of 3,037,153 set in the 2012 General Election. The difference is an increase of more than 68,000 voters. Each political party has seen an increase in registered voters since the 2012 general election. Democrat have added 6,811 voters, while Republicans have added 44,852 voters.
