Several organizations in Floyd County joined forces to feed hundreds of their less fortunate neighbors. Many people are struggling in Eastern Kentucky, and times can become even harder over the holidays. On Tuesday Saint James Episcopal Church, BSCTC’s Care Club, Hope of the Mountains and several donors made a meal for nearly 600 people. While it may have been two days early, organizers were thankful to see so many people enjoying a warm meal together.
