West Virginia’s Governor has vetoed “right to work” legislation

The bill keeps companies from requiring their employees to compensate Labor Unions for representing them. In a statement, Governor Earl Ray Tomblin said that the “right to work” issue has not dissuaded any companies from relocating to West Virginia. He also said that he saw little value in the legislation, which could actually lower wages. The Bill will now go back to the Republican controlled legislature for a second vote.
