The Floyd County Conservation District will be distributing free tree seedlings to the Residents of Floyd County beginning April 17, 2018 at 7am. Trees will be given away each day during office hours until all are gone. Trees available include white pine, hazelnut, pin oak, pawpaw, redbud, and wild plum. Tree seedlings will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Supplies are limited. The office is located at 18 Mayo Branch Brandykeg in Prestonsburg, a ½ mile from the Lancer-Watergap Intersection traveling toward the Jenny Wiley State Park.
