Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Morgan arrested Robert D. Brown age 27 of Gray, Kentucky early Thursday morning September 13, 2018 at approximately 5:45 AM. The arrest occurred off McFadden Cemetery Road approximately 3 miles South of London after Deputy Morgan was dispatched to a complaint that a male subject was standing on the front porch of a residence there not his own. When Deputy Morgan arrived at the scene he noted that the male subject had slurred speech ,was unsteady on his feet and had constricted pupils. The subject there said he was there trying to keep fleas and mosquitoes from biting him. In addition, this subject had also burnt clothes and paper around the front porch and was found in possession of a needle. He also stated he had on borrowed pants. Robert D. Brown was charged with criminal trespassing – third-degree; public intoxication – controlled substances; possession of drug paraphernalia. This individual was lodged in the Laurel County detention center.
