Ten Floyd County Schools’ students placed in the Regional Science Fair at the East Kentucky Science Center and Planetarium on Saturday, November 3, 2018. First Place winners are Betsy Layne High School senior Nate Kidd; 6^th grade Brock Horne and 7^th grader Todd Prater from Duff-Allen Central Elementary; sophomore Kade Scott from Floyd Central High School; and May Valley Elementary 5^th grade Mileigh Kilburn. Second place winners were freshman McKenna Wireman and senior Gabe Hitchcock, both with Prestonsburg High School. Third Place winners are freshman Madison Thornsberry and junior Lakayla Conn from Floyd Central High School; and sophomore Olivia Arnett from Prestonsburg High School.
